Canadian Superior Energy Inc. (Canadian Superior) is preparing for the drilling of offshore wells off the coast of Nova Scotia, Canada. This EOI pertains to activities to be undertaken, by Canadian Superior (i.e. CSEI) and any Joint Venture Partners on
Exploration Licenses EL 2409, EL 2406, EL 2401, EL 2402 and any other new lands resulting from a Call for Bids or the acquisition of lands from other Operators, periodically over an extended term. In addition, contracts resulting from this scope will
contain a right of assignment clause in order to facilitate shared services with other Operators.
Drilling is planned to commence in quarter two of 2003 and may include multiple wells periodically over an extended term. It is anticipated that the initial well will be a high pressure, high temperature (HPHT) well, drilled from a cantilever jack-up
drilling unit, in the Mariner Block (EL 2409), approximately 300 kilometers southeast of Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada.
Canadian Superior Energy Inc. seeks qualified individuals or companies for the provision of Well-site Geological Services. The well-site Geologist's duties and responsibilities will include collection, evaluation and recording of all geological data,
reporting to company representative, supervision of mud-logging and wire-line logging contractors, dispatching samples on a regular basis from the well-site and work in close liaison with the Canadian Superior's Offshore Drilling Supervisors along with
the preparation of final well reports.
Interested parties must have health, safety, and environmental management and quality management systems which, as a minimum, meet all related requirements of the Canada-Nova Scotia Offshore Petroleum Board (CNSOPB) and other appropriate regulatory
requirements. Respondents must indicate company name, contact details, managers and key personnel, company profile, and summary of related experience. Canadian Superior will select qualified bidders from among the respondents to this EOI. Expressions
