PanCanadian Petroleum Limited seeks qualified companies for the fabrication and installation of one modular Helicopter Fuel Storage and Pumping unit to be located on Sable Island.
Requirements include:
The Contractor will be required to supply one (1) only modular helicopter fuel storage and pumping unit, fiberglass or equal enclosure, complete with timber foundation and shelter porch. Required storage capacity is 22,000 litres of Jet A1 fuel in two
double walled stainless steel tanks. The pumping system will consist of two electric driven pumps, powered hose reels and duplex filters. All pipes, fittings, filters and pumps will be constructed of stainless steel. All electrical appliances will be
explosion proof.
The unit will be constructed and tested onshore. Upon completion of testing, the unit will be dismantled into modules weighing 1500 kg - 2500 kg for shipment offshore to Sable Island for final installation.
Prospective contractors will be required to demonstrate their experience and ability to construct specialized fuel handling equipment which meets national codes. The contractor will also be required to demonstrate their capacity to meet PanCanadian
Petroleum Quality Assurance and Safety guidelines.
