In late February 2000 PanCanadian Petroleum Limited announced the
successful testing of an exploration well and a delineation well on the
Deep Panuke structure near Sable Island. Further drilling resulted in a
subsequent announcement on August 9, 2000 of positive test results from the
second delineation well. Additional drilling is currently underway to
better define the extent of the discovery and to confirm the presence of
commercial volumes of natural gas.
In anticipation that the reserves exist to support a potential commercial
development, PanCanadian is undertaking preliminary pre-development work.
We invite expression of interest for the following work in support of
regulatory filing of a potential Scotian Shelf Offshore natural gas
development project.
1. Environmental Impact Statement (EIS)
2. Socio-Economic Impact Statement (SEIS)
3. Safety Plan / Concept Safety Analysis
4. Canada - Nova Scotia Benefits Plan
5. Co-ordination, including Development Plan Application consolidation
and document editing
6. Interrogatory support, hearing preparation and witness
preparation/appearance
