Marathon Canada Limited. seeks qualified companies for the provision of temporary breathing air system to be installed on a drilling rig during drilling operations. The project, which is subject to final approval, will consist of a single exploration
well, with potential sidetracking opportunities once the well logs are evaluated. The project is estimated to commence between July 2001 and July 2002. This work will involve the provision of personnel, equipment, tools, consumables, engineer-certified
drawing/procedures, and support services. The system will:
-Provide certified personal protective respiratory equipment for operations for approximately 110 people.
-Provide certified training regarding the hazards of H2S.
-Identify and enforce safe behaviors of rig personnel.
-Provide a system capable of recharging all critical work stations.
Interested parties must have health, safety, and environmental management and quality management systems which meet all requirements of CNSOPB. Respondents must indicate company name, contact details, managers and key personnel, company profile, and
summary of related experience. Marathon will select qualified bidders from among the respondents to this EOI.
