Marathon Canada Limited. seeks qualified companies for the provision of Casing Accessories for its upcoming deepwater drilling project offshore Nova Scotia. The project, which is subject to final approval, will consist of a single exploration well, with
potential sidetracking opportunities once the well logs are evaluated. The project is estimated to commence between July 2001 and July 2002. The services will include the provision of both conventional and auto-fill float shoes, float collars, subsea
release plugs, centralizers / turbolizers, and associated equipment for 508 mm (20"), 346 mm (13 5/8"), 302 mm (11 7/8"), 245 mm (9 5/8"), 194 mm (7 5/8"), and 139 mm (5 +") casing strings. The casing accessories shall meet the relevant API
specifications.
Interested parties must have health, safety, and environmental management and quality management systems which meet all requirements of CNSOPB. Respondents must indicate company name, contact details, managers and key personnel, company profile, and
summary of related experience. Marathon will select qualified bidders from among the respondents to this EOI.
