Marathon Canada Limited seeks qualified companies for the provision of Gyro Services for its upcoming deepwater drilling project offshore Nova Scotia. The project, which is subject to final approval, will consist of a single exploration well, with
potential sidetracking opportunities once the well logs are evaluated. The project is estimated to commence between July 2001 and July 2002. The service will include the provision of gyro tools and qualified personnel as required. Operations may be
conducted in 406 mm (16"), 311 mm (12 +"), 216 mm (8 +"), & 165 mm ( 6/12") hole sizes to vertical depths of 6000 m. Interested parties will be required to have shop facilities in the Metro-Halifax area.
Interested parties must have health, safety, and environmental management and quality management systems which meet all requirements of CNSOPB. Respondents must indicate company name, contact details, managers and key personnel, company profile, and
summary of related experience. Marathon will select qualified bidders from among the respondents to this EOI.
