Marathon Canada Limited seeks qualified companies for the provision of waste disposal and recycling services to our offshore drilling and shorebase operations Shorebase to support Marathon Canada Ltd's. upcoming deepwater drilling project offshore Nova
Scotia. The project, which is subject to final approval, will consist of a single exploration well, with potential sidetracking opportunities once the well logs are evaluated. The project is estimated to commence between July 2001 and July 2002. Waste /
recylables will include; household type waste, waste oils, paints and thinners, oily rags, aluminum cans, cardboard, wood, wire and cable, scrap steel. Drilling mud wastes include water based, LTMO or synthetic based mud, cuttings coated with the
aforementioned fluid types, centrifuge effluent, seawater or brine contaminated with hydrocarbon or synthetic based fluids. Contractor to supply certified containers suitable for offshore use, to include cuttings boxes, to accommodate waste and
recylables.
Interested parties must have health, safety, and environmental management and quality management systems which meet all requirements of Canada-Nova Scotia Offshore Petroleum Board (CNSOPB). Respondents must indicate company name, contact details,
managers and key personnel, company profile, and summary of related experience. Marathon Canada Limited will select qualified bidders from among the respondents to this EOI.
