Marathon Canada Limited seeks qualified companies to provide marine agent services. The scope includes:
1.Coordination for arrival and departure of vessel(s) with appropriate parties in all ports of call as required. Appropriate parties may include but not limited to Pilots, Harbour Master, Coast Guard, shore labour, repair, and supply houses and Customs,
etc.
2.Must also provide liaison with Customs and Immigration offices. This will include providing documentation with respect to the clearance of customs and immigration, including manifests for materials and personnel, permits and payment of associated fees
and charges.
3.As requested, provide accommodation reservations for personnel.
4.Obtain and supply competitive prices for ships provisions, as requested.
The project, which is subject to final approval, will consist of a single exploration well offshore Nova Scotia, with potential side-tracking opportunities once the well-logs are evaluated. The project is expected to commence between July 2001 and July
2002.
Interested parties must have health, safety, environmental and quality management systems which meet all requirements of the Canada-Nova Scotia Offshore Petroleum Board. Respondents must indicate company name, contact details, managers and key personnel,
company profile and summary of related experience.
