Marathon Canada Limited seeks qualified companies for the provision of wellsite fluid transfer services and reservoir fluid analysis services, for its upcoming deepwater drilling project offshore Nova Scotia. The project, which is subject to final
approval, will consist of a single exploration well, with potential sidetracking opportunities once the well logs are evaluated. The project is estimated to commence between late 2001 and early 2002. In addition to personnel, the service will include
the provision for the transfer of high pressure reservoir fluid samples from an electric-line formation sampling device to the appropriate approved containers for transport to a laboratory and also the appropriate laboratory services to allow for the
determination of the various properties of the reservoir fluids. Examples of the various types of analysis which may be required include compositional analysis, fluid phase behavior, hydrate measurements, hydrate modeling, cloud point determination,
n-paraffin analysis, wax analysis, asphaltene analysis, geochemical analysis, paraffin deposition analysis, and correction of the PVT data for contamination.
Interested parties must have health, safety, and environmental management and quality management systems which meet all requirements of Canada-Nova Scotia Offshore Petroleum Board (CNSOPB). Respondents must indicate company name, contact details, managers
