Marathon Canada Limited seeks qualified companies to prepare a Spar-Hull and Moorings Study with respect to the conceptual development of the Annapolis Field. Marathon's exploration project, which is subject to final approval, will consist of a single
exploration well in approximately 1,800 meters of water on the Annapolis License. Annapolis is located approximately 40 km (or miles) south of Sable Island.The pace of development will depend on a commercial discovery, technology and market access and
prices.
Contract Scope;
For a Drilling and Production Spar concept prepare;
i) Conceptual Hull and Mooring configuration. This will include preliminary sizing of the proposed Floating Production System (FPS). Develop size of hull, initial size of mooring lines, location of riser connection points, arrangement of mooring lines
and risers on seabed.
ii) Weight Estimate.
iii) Conceptual motion analysis to verify the feasibility of the concept for the local environment.
iv) Mooring System Design.
v) Develop list of technical uncertainties/risk assessment items.
vi) Develop scope of follow-on work.
vii) Prepare Conceptual Cost estimate and schedule duration.
Interested parties must have health, safety, and environmental management and quality management systems which meet all requirements of Canada-Nova Scotia Offshore Petroleum Board (CNSOPB). Respondents must indicate company name, contact details, managers
and key personnel, company profile, and summary of related experience. Marathon Canada Limited will select qualified bidders from among the respondents to this Expressions of Interest.
