Marathon Canada Limited seeks qualified companies to prepare a Spar-Riser Study with respect to the conceptual development of the Annapolis Field. Marathon's exploration project, which is subject to final approval, will consist of a single exploration
well in approximately 1,800 meters of water on the Annapolis License. Annapolis is located approximately 40 km (or miles) south of Sable Island.The pace of development will depend on a commercial discovery, technology and market access and prices.
Contract Scope;
i) Based on the hull and mooring selected concept, prepare a conceptual design of the drilling, production and export riser systems taking into account; - Bottom conditions and topography; - Metocean conditions; - Vessel motions; - Export pipeline
requirements; - and tieback options;
ii) Develop list of technical uncertainties/risk assessment items.
iii) Develop scope of follow-on work.
iv) Prepare cost estimate and schedule
Interested parties must have health, safety, and environmental management and quality management systems which meet all requirements of Canada-Nova Scotia Offshore Petroleum Board (CNSOPB). Respondents must indicate company name, contact details, managers
and key personnel, company profile, and summary of related experience. Marathon Canada Limited will select qualified bidders from among the respondents to this Expressions of Interest.
