ExxonMobil Canada Properties (EMCP) has appointed Irving Shipbuilding Inc. (ISI) as their South Venture Topsides Fabrication Contractor for the SABLE TIER 2 PROJECT.

ISI seeks qualified Companies capable of providing supply, manufacturing and installation services described in the Scope of Work below. Expressions of interest including corporate resumes indicating relevant experience, capability and expertise with similar projects must be submitted prior to the closing date indicated above. Irving Shipbuilding Inc. reserves the right to make the final determination of which firms qualify to bid.

Submissions including a completed Vendor Pre-qualification/Registration Questionnaire are to be in the following format (provided in a 3-ring binder with separate sections):
Section 1: Introductory Letter
Section 2: Table of Contents
Section 3: Vendor Pre-qualification/Registration Questionnaire (for main architectural contractor as well as all sub-suppliers)
Section 4: Quality - submit completed pre-qualification questionnaire form referenced above.
Section 5: SHE - submit completed pre-qualification questionnaire form referenced above (include WCB Clearance and Letter of Good Standing from WCB and NSCSA or equivalent)
Section 6: Evidence of qualifications and/or experience
Section 7: Corporate Brochures
Section 8: Other relevant information of Vendor's choosing ("Optional")

Scope of Work:
Includes but is not limited to:
- Receiving, offloading and storage of any free-issued materials. All material items must be properly tagged or marked for identification, with all equipment and furniture fixings protected from any defects, while in storage or en route to the project site for installation.
- Supply, manufacture and installation of the material and equipment noted in Specification EA-L00-A15-0105.
- Supply, manufacture and installation of items identified as Architectural items on the drawings, including the steel supports for the fixtures and furniture.
- Supply, manufacture and installation of the material and equipment listed in Specification EA-L00-A-15-0100 except as noted in the following point.
- The items covered in the Scope of Work shall be in accordance with Specification EA-L00-A-15-0100 which includes but is not limited to:
- B-type walls as described in the specification, including the stiffening of liners and partitions as required to support equipment;
- Doors in B-type walls;
- Deck coverings and finishes;
- Furniture, fixtures and fittings;
- Skirts at the top of B-type walls, if required;
- Vertical and lateral supports for B-type walls; and
- Non-conductive floor mats in electrical room.
- Sheathing on roof of electrical room (including penetration kits).
- Supply, manufacture, installation and testing of all plumbing and drainage inside the Temporary Safe Refuge in accordance with project specifications.
- Supply and installation of the following items to match the style and colour scheme of items described in Specification EA-L00-A-15-0105:
- bathroom stalls and doors;
- paper towel dispenser; and
- toilet roll dispenser

The Scope of Work does not include the following items:
- supply and installation of wind shield cladding;
- supply and installation of heat shield panels;
- supply and installation of safety information signs;
- supply and installation of platform identification signs;
- supply of blast walls, firewalls and associated doors;
- supply or installation of architectural panel attachment points;
- supply of sheathing for roof of electrical room;
- aluminum helideck; and
- insulation

With the exception of items being installed at the project site, the work is to be carried out by the architectural contractor at his designated location. It is preferred that this location be within the Halifax regional Municipality.

It is the Architectural Contractor's responsibility to supply all the materials and labour necessary to complete the entire Scope of Work (other than those items or systems "free-issued"). Materials shall be selected from manufacturer's standard component ranges or designs and shall be in accordance with accepted industry norms and standards. The Architectural Contractor and/or designated sub-suppliers must ensure that they meet and comply with all the applicable codes, standards and regulations.

Schedule for Delivery: Bidding is planned for Late June 2003 with anticipated contract award late July 2003.

Experience and Qualifications
Potential bidders must:
- demonstrate that they have previously supplied, manufactured and installed architectural items on an offshore platform located in an analogous environment.
- demonstrate that they can meet the applicable Government Statutory Regulations, Industry Standards and KSLO Standard and Project Specifications
- maintain a Quality Management system that meets the requirements of ISO 9002, and a material traceability system in compliance with specifications and approved procedures.
