General Requirements: ExxonMobil Canada Properties (ExxonMobil), Hibernia Management & Development Company (HMDC), & Imperial Oil Limited (IOL) are seeking qualified vendors interested in providing various lubricants and greases in Nova Scotia and
Newfoundland. Projects currently contemplated in the scope of supply include, but is not limited to:
- Hibernia Project
- Sable Offshore Energy Project
Potential vendors will have the option of bidding on the scope of supply for the Newfoundland requirements, the scope of supply for the Nova Scotia requirements or both. Potential vendors will be required to support the supply of these requirements from
an operational office in each individual location.
Technical Requirements: The contractor must be qualified to provide the requirements outlined in the Scope of Supply.
Scope of Supply: The scope of supply includes:
- All lubricating oils, greases, hydraulic fluids, rope dressings, degreasants and other products necessary for the operation of various machinery and equipment. The cleanliness of hydraulic fluids is to comply with National Aerospace Standard NAS 1638
Grade 3.
- Warehousing facilities in both Newfoundland and Nova Scotia.
- Laboratory analysis of oils and greases for routine condition monitoring and investigative purposes. Interpretation of results and recommendations for corrective action.
- 24/7 coverage for emergency orders.
- Technical support services as required.
Submission and Registration Requirements:
Vendor submissions must include the following information:
1. Table of Contents for the following
2. Brief overview of Company including financial stability.
3. Technical capabilities 1) Description of facilities in both locations including warehousing 2) Listing of product lines carried 3) Laboratory analysis services capabilities including electronic data transfer availability 4) In house technical support
services 5) Emergency coverage.
4. Quality of products, make reference to standards.
