General Requirements:
ExxonMobil Canada Properties (ExxonMobil), Hibernia Management & Development Company (HMDC) and Imperial Oil Limited (IOL) are seeking qualified contractors interested in providing an Industrial Air Handling Unit(s) for their onshore and/or offshore Nova
Scotia and/or Newfoundland and Labrador. Projects currently contemplated in the materials specification include, but is not limited to:
· ExxonMobil's offshore seismic and exploration and development programs offshore Nova Scotia, including the Sable Basin Exploration & Appraisal Drilling Program.
· Sable Offshore Energy Project
· Hibernia Project
· Imperial Oil Resources Ventures Limited Deepwater Exploration & Appraisal Drilling Program
Materials may be used for offshore platforms, onshore operations, offshore drilling rigs and vessels. Potential suppliers will have the option of bidding on the materials for Newfoundland and Labrador requirements, for Nova Scotia requirements or both.
Potential suppliers may be required to support these requirements from a local office.
Technical Requirements:
The supplier must be qualified to supply the materials outlined in the Equipment Specification. Suppliers must show evidence of having appropriate services and experience to manage the supply requirements. Supplier must provide details of QA/QC systems in
place to control, monitor, and manage scope as described.
Material Specification:
· The Air Handling Units shall be designed and certified for the offshore environment with 316/316L stainless steel being the minimum standard of construction for all metallic components in direct contact with the salt laden environment.
· Dehumidify a temporary hoarding to allow coating activities to be complete.
· Full testing and commissioning shall be completed onshore.
· The unit shall be rated for service in a Class I, Zone II hazardous area.
· The air handling unit is intended to operate from mid-March until mid-December.
· The refrigerant shall be chlorine free with an ODP of zero.
· The unit shall be skid mounted in a lifting frame certified for use offshore.
· The packaged unit shall be complete with supply fan, electric heating coil, cooling coil, a direct expansion (DX) refrigeration equipment section, discharge plenum/transition, moisture eliminator (if required), and weather hood. A functional
specification will be provided to qualified bidders.
Bidding is planned for December 2003 with delivery required by March 2004.

Vendor submissions must include the following information:
§ Current ISO 9000 or equivalent Quality Program Status
§ Index to Quality manual
§ Typical Quality Plan or Procedure for receipt, warehousing, material verification and review of technical documentation prior to delivery to ExxonMobil
§ Company Organization chart
