General Requirements: ibernia Management & Development Company (HMDC), ExxonMobil Canada Properties (ExxonMobil), & Imperial Oil Limited (IOL) are seeking qualified contractors interested in providing medical services in and offshore Nova Scotia and
Newfoundland. Projects currently contemplated in the scope of work include, but is not limited to:
- Hibernia Project
- Sable Offshore Energy Project
- ExxonMobil's offshore seismic and exploration and development programs offshore Nova Scotia, including the Sable Basin Exploration & Appraisal Drilling Program.
- Imperial Oil Resources Ventures Limited Deepwater Exploration & Appraisal Drilling Program
Work locations include offshore platforms, shorebase operations, offshore drilling rigs, vessels (supply, seismic diving, heavy lift, pipeline installation and construction). Potential contractors will have the option of bidding on the scope of work for
the Newfoundland requirements, the scope of work for the Nova Scotia requirements or both. Potential contractors will be required to support these requirements from an operational office in each individual location.
Technical Requirements: The contractor must be qualified to conduct the work outlined in the Scope of Work. All work conducted must be in compliance with ExxonMobil Safe Work Practices and Procedures and Vessel Standard Operating Procedures.
Scope of Work The Contractor shall provide the integrated services of specialist personnel to provide:
-24 hour on-call physician for offshore medical support.
-24 hour on-call aeromedical transportation team and air transport medical kits
-Registered nurses to provide medical services on offshore installations with focus on Occupational Health and Safety
-Medical transport services for vessel passenger transfers
-Medical examinations (including initial assessment, periodic assessment, and fitness to work)
-Disability case management participation
-Medical record management participation
-Procurement and maintenance of offshore medical equipment and consumable supplies
-Certified Alcohol and Drug testing services
Although the regular offshore installation workforce needed for operations is generally stable, the Contractor shall be able to demonstrate flexibility in services delivery to fluctuating workforce numbers and POB (People on Board) required during
offshore activities.
Submission and Registration Requirements
Vendor submissions must include the following information:

3. Annual value (billed volume) for the past 5 years
4. Corporate management 1) Corporate statements ie: Mission, Safety Policy, Environmental Policy and Quality Policy 2) Organization and personnel 3) Administration and management procedures including a brief description of Vendor's method of financial
record keeping
5. Technical capabilities 1) Personnel qualifications 2) Technical resources 3) Equipment, facilities and experience. 4) Provide details of experience relative to each element indicated in our Scope of Work (above). In addition, please provide any
experience your firm has in remote locations, e.g. offshore, rigs, etc. 5) Provide outlines of your work processes for each applicable element in our Scope of Work (above). 6) Brief description of maintenance and repair procedures utilized 7) Sample of
actual equipment service technical report
