General Requirements:
ExxonMobil Canada Properties, a partnership (ExxonMobil) and affiliate Imperial Oil Limited (Imperial) are seeking qualified contractors interested in providing helicopter services for their offshore operations in Eastern Canada. Projects that are
currently contemplated in the scope of work include, but are not limited to the following:
· ExxonMobil's offshore seismic, exploration, production and development programs offshore Nova Scotia, including the Sable Basin Exploration & Appraisal Drilling Program.
· Imperial Oil Resources Ventures Limited Deepwater Exploration & Appraisal Drilling Program
Work location will include offshore drilling rigs and production platform operations. Potential contractors will be required to support these requirements from an operational office in Nova Scotia, or Eastern Canada.
Technical Requirements:
The contractor must be qualified to conduct the work outlined in the Scope of Work. All work conducted must be in compliance with ExxonMobil Safe Work Practices and Procedures.
Scope of Work
ExxonMobil and Imperial Oil Resources Canada Drilling Operations in Eastern Canada requires helicopter transport services for movement of personnel and occasional small equipment items between the drilling vessel/platforms and Halifax, Nova Scotia.
Multi-engine, IFR-equipped aircraft with all Canadian Federal and Local Certification for operation offshore Nova Scotia will be required. ExxonMobil may have equipment requirements in excess of those of the Certifying Agencies and may choose to audit
current and past operations of those companies expressing an interest in providing the service. Such audits may include reviews of maintenance procedures, maintenance records, flight procedures, and crew qualifications.
For Production Facilities, the contract is expected to span approximately five years. For Drilling, the contract is expected to also span a five year program, however, termination will be tied to the release of the drilling unit(s). Depending on drilling
results and economic conditions it could reasonably be expected to have periods of time with no drilling activity, or as many as two rigs performing drilling operations. The contract(s) are expected to commence in the second quarter of 2004.
There are no guaranteed minimum number of wells or length of contract.
