General Requirements: ExxonMobil Canada Properties (ExxonMobil) is seeking qualified contractors interested in providing reprographic services for all ExxonMobil and its affiliate, Imperial Oil Limited, activities in Nova Scotia. Work locations include
offshore platforms and onshore facilities at Goldboro and Point Tupper, Nova Scotia.
Technical Requirements: Successful candidates must be certified and physically capable of providing all services specified below. Successful candidates must also provide all equipment that is required to complete the following Scope of Work. First Aid
Training and CPR training for all employees is required. All employees must be bondable and be able to pass any security clearance that EMCP requires. Experience in an industrial environment is required.
Scope of Work
Company shall be responsible for providing security and investigative services to EMCP buildings and operations, which will include the following:
-Security Guard Services. All guards coming onto EMC Sites are to be properly trained, certified and properly attired with necessary equipment. Duties are to include, but are not limited to, the following:
-Stamp uniform building guards required for both days and evenings
-Uniform roving, marked vehicle patrols
-Screening of personnel & belongings going offshore; using both x-ray machines and metal detection wands.
-Ability to provide increased access security for emergencies and/or threat level increases, i.e. checking persons and vehicles coming onto EMC sites-includes the use of search materials such as flashlights, long handed mirrors for checking underside of
vehicles.
-Security investigative services, including the following:
-Bomb sweeps, using DOG and electronic sniffers
-Electronic eavesdropping
-Smaller investigative services, including interviewing and providing written reports on minor thefts, vandalism etc.
-Secure other specialized security services, i.e. providing trained bodyguards and drivers for corporate VIP events.
Security direction and guidance is to be provided by Corporate Security and the Corporate Security Manual. This manual sets out the IOL/EMC Security Standards and Procedures.
