General Requirements:
ExxonMobil Canada Properties, a partnership (ExxonMobil) and affiliate Imperial Oil Limited (Imperial) are seeking qualified contractors interested in bidding on a 3D marine streamer seismic acquisition for their offshore operations in the Orphan Basin, Eastern Canada. Projects that are currently contemplated in the Scope of Work include, but are not limited to the following:

§ Sable Offshore Energy Project
§ ExxonMobil's offshore seismic, exploration, production and development programs offshore Nova Scotia, including the Sable Basin Exploration & Appraisal Drilling Program.
§ Imperial Oil Resources Ventures Limited Deepwater Exploration & Appraisal Drilling Program

Work location will include offshore vessels. Potential contractors will be required to support these requirements from an operational office, onshore Eastern Canada.

Technical Requirements:
The Contractor must be qualified to conduct the Work outlined in the Scope of Work. All work conducted must be in compliance with ExxonMobil specifications and safe work practices and procedures.

Scope of Work:
Contractor will be required to acquire 3D seismic data and must be capable of acquiring a 3D survey in the Orphan Basin with at least two of the following streamer configurations:
§ 6 streamers at 150m separation (37.5m bins)
§ 8 streamers at 150m separation (37.5m bins)
§ 8 streamers at 100m separation (25m bins)
§ 10 streamers at 100m separation (25m bins)

Each streamer will have at least 480 traces at 12.5m spacing, for at least 6000m in length.

Source will be dual (flip-flop) airgun, with arrays in the range of 3400 to 4400 cubic inches, output at least 100 bar-meters and primary to bubble ratio of at least 20:1.

Contractor shall supply an onboard real time fully integrated navigation and QC system suitable for quality control of all aspects of the navigation and positioning activities.

Contractor shall supply an onboard processing system capable of producing a 'quick-look' cube, including swell-noise attenuation, Radon demultiple and full-offset 2D DMO. In addition to this cube, the processing system will also be required to produce an edited SEG-Y dataset with final
geometry in the trace headers; with throughput maintained equal to that of recording.

Contractor shall supply (or sub-contract) gravity and magnetic acquisition (towed magnetometer) throughout the 3D survey.

Vessel must have a helideck rated for Super-Puma class helicopters.

Vessel must be available for acquiring the survey from June 1 through September 30, 2004.

There is no guaranteed minimum acquisition area or length of Contract.
