ExxonMobil Canada Properties (ExxonMobil) & Imperial Oil Limited (IOL) ("Owner") are planning to drill development and or exploration and/or appraisal wells offshore Nova Scotia area on behalf of itself and its affiliates as described below on ExxonMobil
operated and IOR operated lands on behalf of itself and other joint venture participants and seeks qualified companies interested in drilling tubular and tool inspection services. Projects currently contemplated in this Job Specification, but not limited
to, include:
§ Sable Offshore Energy Project
§ ExxonMobil's offshore seismic and exploration and development programs offshore Nova Scotia, including the Sable Basin Exploration & Appraisal Drilling Program
§ Imperial Oil Resources Ventures Limited Deepwater Exploration & Appraisal Drilling Program
This program is expected to span approximately three years beginning in the first quarter of the year 2004 continuing through the year 2005. Depending on drilling results and economic conditions it could reasonably be expected to have periods of time with
no drilling activity, or as many as two rigs performing drilling operations. The "most likely" assumption, is that drilling will begin in the third quarter of 2004 and that one jack-up drilling rig will be used by ExxonMobil to drill approximately four
wells during this three year period on a well by well basis. There is no guaranteed minimum number of wells or time.
Generalized Job Specification to include but not limited to the following inspection and QA/QC activities:
· Casing and Tubing inspection, preservation and maintenance
· Preparing casing and drilling tubulars on behalf of Owner and the engaged contractors
· Drill-pipe and rotary shouldered connection inspection to DS-1 and Owners BHA program
· QA/QC inspections and audits as required to be performed on Owners Contractors and equipment as required
