General Requirements: ExxonMobil Canada Properties (ExxonMobil) is seeking qualified vendors interested in providing a new, used or re-fabricated offshore gas compressor to ExxonMobil for activities in offshore Nova Scotia. Work location is the North
Triumph platform, part of the Sable natural gas project currently in production.
Based on strategies currently being assessed, this project may or may not be pursued.
ExxonMobil reserves the right to make the final determination of which firms qualify to bid.
Technical Requirements:
Vendors are to provide information regarding their type and range of compressor selection (gas and diesel powered) for natural gas service to flow 50 to 150 MMscfd at compression ratios of 1.05 to 1.45 (discharge pressure is 14.5 MPag). Vendors shall
provide details regarding PLC controls, fuel gas, lube oil and seal gas requirements and their ability to meet low emission regulations. Experience in similar applications and with ExxonMobil or its affiliate Imperial Oil Limited should be referenced.
Onsite technical support during commissioning and start-up is required with BST trained personnel. Bidders shall include information on their ability to rent or lease equipment though this is not a requirement. Bidders shall provide details regarding
their ability to provide technical assistance in the design and selection of associated compressor equipment (i.e. suction scrubbers) and the attainment of any ISO certification.
An evaluation of EMC's minimum requirements for safety, environmental and alcohol & drug is requested on a separate questionnaire.
Scope of Work
The vendor's scope of work is to size and recommend a skid mounted compressor/power plant for offshore installation. Vendor shall design, construct, test and warrant equipment. Vendor shall supply drawings for approval and prepare a factory acceptance
test prior to ExxonMobil acceptance of the equipment. Vendor shall provide technical recommendations regarding ancillary equipment such as suction scrubbers, heat exchangers, and valving and may be required to provide such equipment.
