ExxonMobil Canada Properties, a partnership (EMCP) is continuing to advance the development of the Sable Tier 2 Project and Facilities.
Companies interested in pre-qualifying to bid on this project work should submit their corporate resumes indicating relevant experience, capability, and expertise with similar offshore project work prior to the date indicated above. EMCP reserves the
right to make the final determination of which firms qualify to bid.
Contractor shall note that EMCP may not have received owner sanction at the time of Request for Proposal, however, it is EMCP's intention that owner sanction and subsequent funding will be obtained for the scope of work outlined in the Job Specification
within the proposal validity period requested therein.
EMCP now seeks qualified companies interested in providing the following:
Scope of Supply
Provision of qualified managerial, professional and technical (MPT) personnel to EMCP:
- to support the Tier 2 Project development activities including the areas of engineering, procurement, construction, transportation, installation, hookup, commissioning, tie-ins to existing facilities, etc.
- to participate on the Owner Management and Engineering Team
Description
EMCP is seeking one or more firms capable of providing qualified MPT support personnel from a variety of disciplines, ranging from specialist compression design engineers to commissioning experts. Personnel will be required to travel and may be required
to temporarily relocate. Provision of personnel could be as early as 1st quarter 2003 and extend to approximately the 4th quarter of 2006.
The Sable Tier 2 Development Plan includes three satellite platforms and a single compression platform which will be bridge linked to the existing Thebaud process platform (and wellhead) complex. Tie-in of Tier 2 systems to the existing facilities will be
designed and executed to minimize impact on production operations. The facilities will be required to meet all relevant Canada Nova Scotia Offshore Petroleum Board (CNSOPB) regulations.
Schedule for Delivery
It is anticipated that contract award will occur in the first quarter 2003.
Experience
Potential bidders must demonstrate that they have applicable experience and capability in providing technical support services for similar offshore project work.
Option to Increase Scope of Supply
Potential bidders are advised of the option for additional work scope where execution synergies may exist. Bidders shall take this into consideration when preparing expressions of interest and in preparation for submission of proposals.
