ExxonMobil Canada Properties, a partnership ("EMCP") has appointed Kvaerner SNC-Lavalin Offshore (KSLO) as their EPCM Contractor for the Sable Tier II Project.
Companies interested in pre-qualifying to bid on project work should submit corporate resumes indicating relevant experience, capability and expertise with similar projects prior to the closing date indicated above. KSLO reserves the right to make the
final determination of which firms qualify to bid.
KSLO now seeks qualified contractors interested in providing the following:
Scope of Supply: Fabrication of small offshore low temperature steel fabrications, up to 100 Tonnes. The fabrications are typically of open sections, tubulars and plate for South Venture, liquids handling work and any other Tier 2 requirements. The
fabrication will entail the receipt, handling and integration of equipment, valves etc. to be supplied by others.
The fabricator shall be qualified in accordance with CSA W47 and its Offshore Supplement. Welding shall comply with CSA W59 and its Offshore Supplement, with the additional requirements required by S473-92.
The fabricator shall implement a Quality Assurance System to ISO 9002 and CSA Z299.
Option to Increase Scope of Supply: Contractor / Vendor shall take into consideration the additional Sable Tier II platform requirements when preparing the submission for the above scope and the Owner's intent for the option to extend the current scope to
future platforms where applicable.
Schedule for Delivery: Bidding is planned for June 2003 with delivery of first fabrications in 3Q03.
Experience: Potential bidders must demonstrate that they can provide equipment/materials/services for an offshore platform located in an analogous environment.
Supplier Submissions: Interested parties must express interest by obtaining a Vendor Prequalification / Registration Questionnaire from BIDS Nova Scotia (see contact information below).
