ExxonMobil Canada Properties has appointed Saipem SpA as the Pipeline Installation Contractor for the SABLE TIER 2 PROJECT.
Companies interested in pre-qualifying to bid on project work should submit corporate resumes indicating relevant experience, capability and expertise with similar projects prior to the closing date indicated above. Saipem SpA reserves the right to make
the final determination of which firms qualify to bid.
Saipem SpA now seeks qualified contractors interested in providing the following:
Scope of Supply:
To provide fully manned and equipped vessel or Tug & Barge combination for pipe-spool/ concrete mattress transportation from Halifax,NS to the DSV Bar Protector, during the installation of the interfield offshore pipeline tie-ins to the Alma and Thebaud
platforms.
Minimum open Deck space requirement is 50m Long x 18m Wide. The proposed vessel should have a minimum of joystick control for station keeping.
Description:
Subcontractor workscope includes transportation of personnel and materials and general supply duties as directed by charterers and always within vessel's natural capacities and capabilities. Vessel to be crewed for 24 hour continuous operations with
English speaking crew.
Schedule for Delivery
Bidding is planned for the 1st quarter 2003 with delivery required in the 2nd quarter 2003.
Duration of Supply Vessel requirement is approx. 5 to 15 days.
Experience
Potential bidders must demonstrate previous experience in providing this scope of work for an offshore installation located in an analogous environment.
