ExxonMobil Canada Properties has appointed Saipem SpA as the Platform Installation Contractor for the SABLE COMPRESSION PROJECT.
Companies interested in pre-qualifying to bid on project work should submit corporate resumes indicating relevant experience, capability and expertise with similar projects prior to the closing date indicated above. Saipem SpA reserves the right to make
the final determination of which firms are qualified to bid.
Saipem SpA now seeks qualified contractors interested in providing the following:
Scope of Supply:
To provide a fully manned and self-propelled vessel for the transportation of the Sable Compression deck and link bridge from DSME’s Okpo yard in Korea to offshore Halifax, Nova Scotia Canada. Outlined description of deck and bridge given below:
Deck Weight = 7500 te
Deck Dimensions = 53.5m x 42.5m x 26m (LxWxH)
Deck CoG Height = 15m
Link Bridge = 270 te and approximately 55m long
Description:
Subcontractor scope of work includes:
· Mobilisation of vessel to DSME’s Okpo yard, Korea
· Transportation of Sable deck to offshore Halifax, Canada
· Mooring of barge to Heavy Lift Vessel and offloading of cargo at offshore location
· Demobilisation of vessel following clean-off by Charterer
Schedule for Delivery
Bidding is planned for the 1st quarter 2004 with delivery required in the 1st quarter 2006.
Experience
Potential bidders must demonstrate previous experience in providing this scope of work for an offshore installation located in an analogous environment.
