Companies interested in pre-qualifying to bid on work should submit corporate resumes indicating relevant experience, capability and expertise with similar projects prior to the closing date indicated above. ExxonMobil Canada Properties reserves the
right to make the final determination of which firms qualify to bid.
Contractor / Vendor shall note that the Owner may not have received project sanction at the time of Request for Proposal, however, it is the Owner's intention that project sanction and subsequent funding will be obtained for the scope of work outlined in
the Job Specification within the proposal validity period requested therein.
EMC now seeks qualified suppliers interested in providing the following:
Scope of Supply:
EMC is interested in companies able to supply piping and fittings in the following categories:
Duplex materials of Type 2205 (UNS S31803) with required mechanical, impact and corrosion properties for service at -51C /116C. Size range ¾" to 8" nominal pipe size.
Low temperature Carbon steels of the A333 Gr 6 and A350 LF2 type with required mechanical and impact properties for service at -46C/121C. Size range ¾" to 8" nominal pipe size.
Schedule for Delivery
Bidding is planned for April, 2002 with delivery required by April 30, 2002.
Experience
EMC requires respondents to be able to demonstrate a proven track record in this type of supply for the oil and gas industry. In particular, respondents must supply information on similar applications where they have previously supplied similar
materials. The respondents will also require to have in place procedures for controlled receipt and verification of the material and its technical documentation, prior to release to EMC.
