The Sable Offshore Energy Project (SOEP) is requesting expressions of
interest from companies capable of supplying the materials, equipment
and/or services described below. Companies interested in pre-qualifying
to bid on this package should submit their corporate resumes indicating
relevant experience and expertise with similar products and services to
the following address prior to the closing date indicated above. SOEP
reserves the right to make the final determination of which firms will
qualify to bid on the project.
DESCRIPTION
Based on a needs assessment conducted by SOEP, the contractor will be
required to:
1-Develop an Occupational Health Guideline document for each SOEI
location (onshore and offshore). This should reflect the different
requirements of each site, depending on the operations conducted
currently or those planned for the future.
The document may cover but is not limited to:
Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System
Hearing Conservation and Noise
Respiratory Protection
Confined Space
Heat and Cold stress
Naturally Occurring Radioactive Materials
Potable Water
Personal Protective Equipment
Man Made Mineral Fibers
Indoor Air Quality
Laboratory Industrial Hygiene (IH) Practices
Job Exposure Profile Guidelines
IH requirements for Emergency Response
2-The development of Job Exposure Profiles (JEP) for the different
positions at each site, with reduction and monitoring recommendations.
3-A monitoring plan for each site indicating test parameters, test
methods, location, frequency, etc.
4-Determine the training requirements for Occupational Health Site
Contacts who will conduct and maintain the routine components of the
programme (per site) including conducting JEPs.
Please note that the above scope will cover onshore and offshore
locations. Full operational activities will commence in November 1999.
Companies submitting expressions of interest shall provide them for any
part or all of the above scope of work. Companies shall submit summaries
of related corporate experience, resumes of key personnel and an
implementation plan for the management, design, and maintenance of this
program, including an indication of equipment as well as the methods of
measurement, monitoring and analyzing of data.
SOEP is requesting expressions of interest from companies capable of
providing expertise and equipment, offering "best value" for the
project, for any or all of the services described above.
