The Sable Offshore Energy Project (SOEP) through its Alliance Partner
Allseas Canada Limited (ACAN) is requesting expressions of interest from
companies capable of supplying pin brazing materials described below.
Companies interested in pre-qualifying to bid on these work packages
should submit their corporate resumes, indicating amongst others
expertise, QA and HS&E management system description, and relevant
experience, prior to the closing date indicated above. SOEP and ACAN

qualify to bid on the project.
SCOPE OF SERVICES
During the offshore installation of the 18 and 12 inch inter-field
pipelines by the pipelay vessel, pin brazing consumables will be
required for the installation of galvanic protection for the 3 inch
piggy-back line. The 3 inch piggy-back line is a steel pipeline which
is installed next to, and at the same time as, the 18 and 12 inch
inter-field lines. This 3 inch line is used to transport mono-ethylene
glycol to the well head.
Anodes will be used to provide galvanic protection for inter-field
pipeline and associated piggy-back lines. These anodes are presently
being installed on the inter-field gas lines, equipped with a cathode
lead which will be attached to the 3 inch piggy-back line. Wire leads
will be connected to piggy back lines during pipelay operations at sea.
Pin brazing consumables as listed below will be required for connection
of these wire leads to the 3 inch lines. Lugs for pin bracing will not
be required, as they will be preattached to the anode wire leads.
These materials will be transported offshore by Supply vessels from one
or more harbours along the east coast of Nova Scotia to the Offshore
location. The company that is awarded this work will also have to
provide transportation and offloading of this material to the dedicated
supply base.
DESCRIPTION:
The work will include the supply and delivery of the following materials
and approximated quantities:

of these units will be
