GENERAL

Washed stone aggregate will be required as part of a
polyurethane/aggregate field joint infill procedure performed aboard
the Allseas Pipelay Marine Vessel, Solitaire. This procedure consists
of the injection molding of an aggregate and polyurethane composition
placed over the welded and sealed pipe joint aboard the pipelaying
vessel. The hydraulic reusable mold is clamped upon the joint where
the composition is injected into a hole in the top of the clamp. After
approximately three minutes, the clamp is removed and the field joint
inspected prior to moving to the next welding joint.

The aggregate will be required to be delivered to a yet to be confirmed
loading facility. The aggregate must be 8mm-16mm stone, washed and
bagged or provided in an open container.

The aggregate pit must be an ACAN approved site meeting Quality
Control parameters and passing sieve test analysis. The CONTRACTOR
shall be responsible for providing the test results as requested by
ACAN.

SCOPE OF SERVICES

The scope of this work will consist of the supply of approximately 1300
cubic meters of washed aggregate to the port facility, packaged and
delivered by the required date. The aggregate may come from any source
and have any shape, the only limitation being the sieve size of 8mm to
16mm.

The aggregate must be 8mm-16mm stone, washed and dust free. It may be
supplied in bags or in an open half height container able to be end
dumped when placed upon a tipping unit.

The company awarded this work will be responsible for the manpower,
management, equipment, services, testing of aggregate and sieve
analysis, delivery, off loading to the site and all associated
procedures and costs to insure the timely completion of this scope of
work.
