GENERAL

All gas that is collected through interfield gas pipelines will be sent
to the Goldboro gas processing plant through approximately 200 km
26-inch gas gathering pipe line. After the installation, flooding,
subsequent trenching, and testing of the 26-inch natural gas gathering
line, there will be a requirement for dewatering and drying services of
this subsea pipeline.

The 26-inch pipeline will be filled with seawater and preservation
chemicals to prevent interior corrosion of the pipeline. Before gas
can be introduced to this pipeline a thorough dewatering and drying
procedure must be completed. The pipeline must be dewatered and dried
to a dewpoint of -20*C. All dewatering activities will take place from
the land end of the pipeline. Access to the 26-inch pipeline will be
available at the landfall site.

The company that is awarded this work will be responsible for supplying
all consumables, manpower, management, equipment, services, and all
associated costs to insure timely dewatering and drying of the 26-inch
pipeline.

SCOPE OFSERVICES:

The scope will consist of developing and implementing a bulk dewatering
and drying procedure for approximately 200km of subsea pipeline to -20*C
dewpoint. The company must coordinate in close operation with the
project, dewatering and drying procedures to insure the pipeline is
ready for the introduction of gas in early fall of 1999.

The preliminary schedule for delivery of is as follows:

- Pipeline De-watering/Drying Services: August - 1999
