The Sable Offshore Energy Project (SOEP) is requesting expressions of
interest from companies capable of supplying the labour, equipment and
materials to execute the work package described below. Companies
interested in pre-qualifying to bid on this work package should submit
their corporate resumes indicating relevant experience and expertise
with similar projects to the following address prior to the closing date
indicated above. SOEP reserves the right to make the final
determination of which firms will qualify to bid on the Project.
Purpose:
BBA wish to identify Contractors who are able to provide the following
listed services for use during the construction of the onshore
facilities. This information will be shared with the various Mechanical
Contractors engaged by SOE Inc (through BBA) at both the Gas Plant and
Fractionation Plant sites. The purpose of this package is to supply the
labour and equipment to carry out piping systems integrity service.
Description of the Work:
This work package includes:
1. Water Flushing - The flushing of piping systems with a volume of
water sufficient to clean the internal surfaces of piping systems of
debris. Contractor is responsible for the supply and disposal of the
flushing medium in an environmentally approved manner.
2. Pressure Testing - Hydrostatic testing of piping systems to
pressures and for durations in accordance with the applicable code.
Water is to be maintained at 60*F for the duration of the test.
Contractor is responsible to supply and dispose of testing medium in an
environmentally approved manner.
3. Hydraulic Flushing - Flushing of hydraulic piping systems to be
specified cleanliness. Contractor is responsible to supply and dispose
of flushing medium in an environmentally approved manner.
4. Chemical Cleaning - Cleaning (pickling) of piping systems in
accordance with the project specifications. Contractor is responsible
to to supply and dispose of the cleaning medium in an environmentally
approved manner.
5. Bolt Tensioning - Supply bolt tensioning services, (all
necessary equipment) for the piping bolted connections. Taping of
connections after tensioning is complete.
6. Purge/Leak Testing - Provide services for the purging and leak
testing of piping systems with an inert gas. Contractor is responsible
to provide all necessary equipment, consumable and gas.
The successful Contractor will also be responsible for:
* mobilization & demobilization;
* safety and environmental requirements
* Quality Assurance and Quality Control.
