WAREHOUSING AND LOGISTICS SERVICES

Sable Offshore Energy Inc. (SOEI) is requesting expressions of interest from companies capable of supplying the services described below. SOEI reserves the right to make the final determination of which firms will qualify to bid.
Duration
SOEI wishes to pursue an initial 5year business relationship with an option of five one year term extensions with a qualified supplier for warehousing and logistics services to support SOEI's onshore and offshore production facilities.
Qualified suppliers must be capable of providing the following services:
Transportation and Logistics Services
Supplier shall provide transportation services within Nova Scotia to meet the needs of various SOEI production facilities and other pick-up and delivery areas within the Halifax area.
Supplier shall also provide all the necessary transportation vehicles, equipment and personnel.
Freight brokerage services as required.
Warehousing facilities
Supplier provision of a warehousing facility within the Halifax/Dartmouth area.
Cross-dock and consolidation services including receipt of material, material verification, consolidation of freight and staging of materials.
Site Stores Management at SOEI facilities including material consumption tracking and auto replenishment processes.
Inventory management including centralization of materials, custody management of materials and inventory rationalization.
Scheduled Delivery of Service
Bidding is planned in March of 2002, with service required to commence in April 2002.
Bidders shall take into consideration that SOEI may expand the above scope as future business needs dictate.
Experience
Potential bidders must demonstrate that they have previously supplied similar services.
