Sable Offshore Energy Inc (SOEI) is seeking qualified contractors interested in providing a standby power generation package for the Point Tupper Fractionation Plant, Point Tupper, Nova Scotia.
Companies interested in pre-qualifying to bid on this package should submit their corporate resumes indicating relevant experience, capability and expertise with similar packages prior to the closing date indicated above. SOEI reserves the right to make
the final determination of which firms qualify to bid.
Scope of Supply
One generator unit will be installed at the Point Tupper facilities to back up the normal (NS Power) supply to the Plant. This generator will be sized to provide approximately 500 kW of output power at 600 V. The unit will be diesel driven and packaged
as a skid complete with diesel engine driver, AC synchronous alternator, starting and cooling systems, controls and auxiliaries, all installed in an enclosure suitable for onshore marine environments. Equipment shall comply with all relevant Canadian
Standards and Regulations.
Potential bidders must be able to demonstrate that they have previously supplied similar units located in a similar environment.

Schedule
Order for this equipment is to be placed in February / March, 2002 timeframe. Equipment must be delivered to the destination (site) by September, 2002. Potential bidders must confirm typical delivery times for this equipment package.
