Sable Offshore Energy Inc. (SOEI) operates a gas plant in Goldboro, N.S. and is planning facility expansions.
Companies interested in pre-qualifying to bid on work should submit corporate resumes indicating relevant experience, capability and expertise with similar projects prior to the closing date indicated above. SOEI reserves the right to make the final
determination of which firms qualify to bid.
Contractor / Vendor shall note that the Owner may not have received project sanction at the time of Request for Proposal, however, it is the Owner's intention that project sanction and subsequent funding will be obtained for the scope of work outlined in
the Job Specification within the proposal validity period requested therein.
SOEI now seeks qualified contractors interested in providing the following:
Scope of Supply:
Scope of supply for mechanical/piping installation labour may include, but not limited to:
- Field measurement
- Shop fabrication
- Field tie-ins, welding and installation
- QA/QC, hydrotesting
- Painting
- Equipment setting
- Supply misc. material
Scope of Electrical/Instrumentation supply may include, but not limited to:
- Cable installation, cable pulling
- Cable tray installation
- Glanding, terminations
- Tubing installations
- Electrical heat trace installation
- Installing electrical / instrumentation equipment
- Mechanical Completion Testing and Commissioning
- Supply of misc. electrical / instrumentation material
Scope of Civil construction labour, may include but not limited to:
- Supply fill and material for an approx. 50m x 50m tank farm
- Provide equipment and labour to facilitate construction of tank farm
- Scope may require minor road construction and paving
- Scope may require installation of secondary containment liner and berms (experience in installation of secondary containment systems would be considered an asset)
- Scope may require small vessel, pump and piping support foundations
- Scope may require equipment setting
Schedule for Delivery
Bidding is planned for the 4th quarter 2001 with delivery required in the 2nd quarter 2002.
Experience
SOEI requires respondents to be able to demonstrate a proven track record in this type of application in oil and gas related industrial work. In particular, respondents must supply information on similar applications where they have supplied similar
services and all other relevant information in order to complete a pre-qualification for bidders.
