Sable Offshore Energy Incorporated (SOEI) has appointed Kvaerner SNC-Lavalin Offshore (KSLO) as their EPCM Contractor for the SABLE OFFSHORE ENERGY PROJECT Tier 2.
Companies interested in pre-qualifying to bid on providing quality control / inspection services should submit corporate resumes indicating relevant experience, capability, expertise and financial details prior to the closing date indicated above. KSLO
reserves the right to make the final determination of which firms qualify to bid.
KSLO now seeks qualified companies interested in providing the following:
Scope of Service
To provide the necessary quality auditing and inspection services on project equipment and fabrication packages to ensure compliance to project specifications and regulations.
Requirements: Strategic placement of qualified resources worldwide in countries / areas to be determined. The acceptable supplier/s will possess demonstrated experience and expertise in the following disciplines:
- Quality assurance system audits
- Supplier evaluations
- Witness of inspection hold points and Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT)
- In process and final inspections in mechanical, structural and piping welding, electrical, dimensional, protective coatings, non destructive testing
- Inspection Release related to equipment packages
- Procedure review and comment
- Development and review of Inspection and Test Plans
- Inspection coordination
Note:
1. Personnel shall be suitably qualified and certified for the relevant task requested.
2. The provision of services will be on a requested basis
3. KSLO will perform some activities with internal project personnel.
4. KSLO will determine format and context of surveillance reports. The service provider may be required to revise their normal reporting mechanism to suit project needs.
Experience
Potential bidders must demonstrate that they have previously supplied similar services applicable to fabrication and installation of other offshore platform(s).
