The Sable Offshore Energy Project (SOEP) through its Alliance Partner
Allseas Canada Limited (ACAN) has awarded the pipeline pre-commissioning
contract to Halliburton Group Canada Inc. Halliburton Group Canada Inc. is therefore seeking expressions of interest from companies capable of
supplying air drying/compressor spread equipment as described below.
Companies interested in pre-qualifying to bid on these work packages should submit their corporate resumes, indicating amongst others expertise, QA and HS&E management system description, and relevant experience, prior to the closing date indicated above.
ACAN & Halliburton reserve the right to make the final determination of which firms will qualify to bid on the project.
GENERAL
All gas that is collected through interfield gas pipelines will be sent to the Goldboro gas processing plant through approximately 200 km 26-inch gas gathering pipe line. After the installation, flooding, subsequent trenching done by our client and the
flooding, cleaning, gauging, hydrotesting of the 26-inch natural gas gathering line by Halliburton. There will be a requirement for dry, clean, oil free compressed air for dewatering and drying of this subsea pipeline.
The pipeline must be dewatered and dried to a dewpoint of -20oC. All
dewatering and drying activities will take place from the Goldboro gas plant in September 1999. Access to the 26-inch pipeline will be available at the Goldboro gas plant.
The company that is awarded this work will be responsible for supplying all consumables (except for diesel), manpower (maintenance), equipment
(mobilisation), services, and all associated costs to insure timely
dewatering and drying of the 26-inch pipeline.
SPECIFICATIONS DRYING/COMPRESSOR SPREAD:
The specific requirements are:
1. Up to 25,000 Sm3/hr of dry, clean, oil free, compressed air at 24 barg
discharge pressure.
2. Booster package capable of increasing discharge pressures to 100 barg for above flowrates.
3. Air drying package, self regenerating, capable of handling above
flowrates at 24 barg at discharge dewpoint of -60oC .
4. Data logging package capable of recording pressures and flowrates
