The Sable Offshore Energy Inc (SOE) is requesting expressions of
interest from qualified companies capable of supplying the equipment,
materials and personnel to carry out the workscope described below.
Companies interested in prequalifying to bid on this package should
submit their corporate resumes indicating relevant experience and
expertise with similar services to the following address before the
closing date indicated above. SOEP reserves the right to make the final
determination of which firms will qualify to bid on the project.
PURPOSE
Kvaerner Oil & Gas Ltd. [KOGL] have been appointed by the Sable Offshore
Energy Inc [SOE] as fabricators for the Thebaud and Venture topside
structures (including a link bridge and two flare booms-6 structures in
total) to be constructed at their facility at Pt. Clarence, Teesside,
England.
DESCRIPTION
KOGL intend to issue an enquiry document to provide temporary electrical
power for onshore commissioning purposes on the Topsides Facilities for
Thebaud Production, Wellhead and Venture Satellite Platforms at Kvaerner
Oil & Gas production facilities at Port Clarence, Middlesbrough, in the
United Kingdom. The same function may have to be performed on the
offshore phase of the Project in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
The scope will include :-
1 x 750 KVA Generator 415V 60Hz Synchronising Facility
1 x 1250 KVA Generator 415V 60Hz Synchronising Facility
1 x 415/600V Step Up Transformer
All inter-connecting cables - generator to transformer to switchgear
1 x 1 MVA Loadbank (resistive & reactive load)
1 x 600/415V Step Down Transformer
1 x Temp MCC (2 ACB's on Common Bus)
The selected contractor will be responsible for providing KOGL with
relative documentation i.e. test certs etc., and full on site support
when required during the commissioning phase.
Procurement process must conform with SOE's commitment to provide full
and fair opportunity to Nova Scotia and Canada suppliers.
Subcontractors working at Pt. Clarence facility must adhere strictly to
all relevant Health Safety and Environmental legislation in force at the
time the work will be performed.
SOE reserves the right to make the final determination of which firms
qualify to bid on the project.
