The Sable Offshore Energy Project (SOEP) is requesting expressions of
interest from companies capable of supplying the labour, equipment and
materials to execute the work package described below. Companies
interested in pre-qualifying to bid on this work package should submit
their corporate resumes indicating relevant experience and expertise
with similar projects to the following address prior to the closing date
indicated above. SOEP reserves the right to make the final
determination of which firms will qualify to bid on the Project.
The corporate resumes must include the following information:
1. legal structure of firm
2. financial references
3. HS&E program
4. HS&E records for the last five (5) years
5. Quality program
6. information on both labour relations and union affiliation
7. key personnel proposed for this project
8. list of similar projects over the last five (5) years
9. reference list for previous work
10. current construction workload
Purpose:
BBA, a Joint Venture (Construction Manager), wishes to identify Clearing
Contractors with experience in this type of work, who are able to carry
out the right-of-way clearance for the 26" Gatherling Line from the
offshore to the Goldboro Gas Plant, as well as the 8" NGL and the 8" NG
pipelines which run between the Goldboro Gas Plant and the Point Tupper
Fractionation Plant.
Description of the Work:
The work under this contract shall be performed in accordance with the
National Energy Board onshore pipeline regulations, Nova Scotia Pipeline
Regulations and standard industry practice. In the event of conflicting
regulations, the more stringent shall apply.
The work shall include all labour, equipment and consumable materials
necessary to accomplish the cutting, felling, stockpiling of all
merchantible timber products and disposal of all other waste materials,
for the pipeline right-of-way from Landfall to the Goldboro Gas Plant,
and from the Goldboro Gas Plant to the Point Tupper Fractionation Plant.
The successful Contractor will also be responsible for:
* mobilization & demobilization;
* survey, layout, & supervision; and
* Quality Assurance and Quality Control.
