Parker Brothers Contracting Ltd (PBCL) as a subcontractor for MMI/Brown &
Root JV, is requesting expressions of interest from qualified Nova Scotian
and Canadian companies capable of supplying the materials and services
described below.
Companies interested in pre-qualifying to bid on this package should submit
their corporate resumes indicating relevant experience and expertise with
similar products to the following address before the closing date indicated
above. PBCL reserves the right to make the final determination of which
firms will qualify to bid for the on the project.
SCOPE
PBCL intend to issue an inquiry document to cover the supply of Removable
Insulation Covers.
The scope of supply will include:
* The supply of Pre-fabricated Flexible Removable Insulation Covers
meeting the following requirements:-
The Flexible Removable Covers must be easily installed and removed,
be durable, they must fit the items they cover snugly and all openings
and joints be weather tight and the inside face is liquid tight in
hydrocarbon service.
The outside facing (cold) shall be Teflon impregnated fibreglass
fabric
The inside face (hot) shall be Silica fabric (Alpha sil style
96-2220 or approved equal). The inside face shall also have knitted wire
mesh, ASTM A 167, type 304 stainless steel, for protection against
abration.
The insulation filler shall be glass fibre blanket (type E glass
fibre)
* Delivery to 3 Atlantic Street, Dartmouth, Nova Scotia.
* Provision of storing and handling instructions and MSDS sheets
