The Sable Offshore Energy Project (SOEP), through it's Alliance partner
Saipem Canada, is requesting expressions of interest from companies capable
of supplying and operating (where applicable) the equipment described below.
Companies interested in pre-qualifying to bid on this package should submit
their corporate resumes indicating relevant experience and expertise with
similar products to the following address prior to the closing date
indicated above. SOEP reserves the right to make the final determination of
which firms will qualify to bid on the Project.
SCOPE OF SUPPLY:
The scope of work is to remove the soil column from four offshore piles
located at the North Triumph Jacket location at Sable, to enable further
driving of each of the 72" diameter piles. The Contractor shall mobilize
equipment and personnel from Halifax, Nova Scotia, ready for transfer
offshore location. The Contractor's personnel shall prepare equipment ready
for deployment from the supplied work vessel. The contractor shall operate
his own soil removal dredging equipment to take at the soil column to a
depth up to 40 meters below the seabed level. (Sea depth 75 meters.) When
complete, Contractors shall retrieve all deployed tools onto the work vessel
ready for demobilization. Contractor shall provide written report on the
offshore operations to Saipem Canada.
