Sable Offshore Energy Inc. (SOEI) seeks qualified companies interested in, and capable of supplying, installing and maintaining a PBX phone system in the Halifax offices. SOEI reserves the right to make the final determination of which firms will qualify
to bid on the required system. SOEI will issue a Request For Proposal (RFP) upon completion of the Expression of Interest.
System installation is planned for August, 2000.
Description:
A PBX phone system is required to provide telephone and voice-mail services for both the SOEI offices located in two office buildings in downtown Halifax. The PBX telephone system will replace Centrex services currently provided at the Halifax
offices.
Following is a description of the phone system and services required:
- Provide, install and commission a phone system at each of the two Halifax office locations.
- The two sites will be networked together with a centralized attendant
switchboard.
- The system will have a centralized voice-mail system.
- Each office location will be equipped to support about 100 users with
expansion capability to support approximately 200 users each.
- Provide digital ports with digital display sets.
- Provide analog ports for modems/fax?s.
- Provide interfaces for PRI trunking at the primary location.
- Provide system UPS?s.
- Provide system training and warranty.
- Provide ongoing maintenance and MAC support ( Moves, Adds and Changes).
- The system provided must meet the SOEI Security and Controls guidelines.
Interested companies shall provide relevant experience in the immediate area over the past several years including the sizes of the systems provided.
Interested companies will be expected to provide written verification that their installation and maintenance personnel are appropriately trained and certified for the proposed systems.
Interested companies shall identify the location and availability of spare parts and qualified technicians.
