Western Geophysical is requesting expressions of interest from companies
capable of supplying Marine Weather Forecasting Services as described below.
Companies interested in being considered for this work should submit their
corporate resumes indicating expertise, QA and HS&E management system
description, and relevant experience, prior to the closing date indicated
above. Western Geophysical reserves the right to make the final
determination of which firms will qualify for the project.
GENERAL
During the activities associated with an upcoming OBC seismic survey Western
Geophysical will require the use of site specific Weather forecasting
services, as indicated below, for the vessels that are working on this
project
The company that is awarded this work will be responsible for site specific
weather forecasting services and general long-range weather forecasting
services.
SCOPE OF SERVICES
The Weather forecasting services will include but not be limited to the
following:
1. Weather forecasting in the offshore Nova Scotia area.
SCHEDULE
The preliminary schedule for the various Marine Agent activities is based
on the following dates:
- Supply of Weather Forecasting Services: June 1999 - October 1999
