Purpose and Goal
The purpose of this Tender is to solicit submissions from vendors who wish to
recommend and provide Network Traffic Management/Quality of Service
technologies to the NLCHI, DoHCS and regional boards. Note that it is possible
the other health stakeholder organizations (as listed in Section 1.0) may or may
not choose to participate in this Tender.
The goal of the Network Traffic Management Project is to identify and select a
vendor to provision an NTM/QoS solution that best meets the requirements as
identified in this Tender. The vendor will:
· Provide NTM/QoS services and/or infrastructure to facilitate management of
the provincial HIN;
· Provide NTM/QoS services and/or infrastructure to health organizations
which are connected or capable of connecting to the HIN;
· Provide installation and implementation expertise as required to execute
NTM/QoS on the HIN;
· Provide maintenance and service as required to support the implementation
of NTM/QoS on the HIN; and
· Provide capability for the individual subscribers to directly control NTM/QoS
on their respective networks.
